One of my favourite walks so far in Snowdonia is the Nantlle Ridge. The walk starts in the Rhyd Ddu car park and walks along the ridge in this picture from left to right.
Thanks for looking!
Scenes from the Gap,of Dunloe Co Kerry Ireland. Where you need nerves of steel to navigate the very narrow and very windy road but the views and scenery are fabulous. Too good to miss.
Two evenings spent waiting for the perfect Sunset. Not to be, but we did get this amazing cloud on the last evening.
Climate change has been and still is the subject of fierce debate for some years, many saying that there is no such thing as climate change and others professing impending doom.
Climate change is a natural phenomena, it has been since the beginning of time, however, mankind and the way we live our lives is influencing our planet and its climate significantly.
We clearly have to move away from fossil fuels, we need to find a way to deal with our waste products, plastics being dumped at sea is not an answer, the impact upon marine life is dreadful.
So my question is this, if mankind has had such a negative impact upon climate change, do we have enough innovative and progressive ideas and attitudes to be able to repair the damage we have caused?

couldn't do much with this until I tried it in b&w and it came out nice I think
It was very dusty from high winds this morning in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. I went to shoot Mesa arch but changed my mind when I saw all of the dust limiting detail in the distance. These conditions were great however for capturing silhouettes of the distant plateaus and ridges in the parks.
Here I am leaving "Island in the Sky" looking east toward Arches. The structures of the Windows district in Arches National Park can be seen in one of the middle silhouettes.

Located in Glacier National Park, Montana. What a gorgeous still morning, this was. A passing cloud, lightly muting the sun, just enough to reduced the strong contrast and provide this scene with a wonderful soft light. The timing could't be more perfect, to capture the slowly passing boat.
Happy Birthday Rafael Sanchez! Todo un honor haber compartido contigo este viaje fotográfico a Montana y Canada
As always, thank you for stopping by and looking. I appreciate your visits and comments.
This is the first of a series of landscape images of the Serrianía of Ronda area of Andalusia. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serran%C3%ADa_de_Ronda
This image shows a characteristic agricultural scene with olive groves and various areas for vegetable gardens.
Large is revealing. Zoom is interesting.
