I'd met Steve a number of times, at events like Grand Tournaments.

I showed him some other art I'd been doing, and he asked me to submit a piece for the magazine.

I love Kroot and this seemed like something that made sense, and was serendipitously the same issue that the Kroot Mercs list came out in.

Steve also was kind enough to change the letters page layout to make my image bigger.
