VINH, Vietnam (July 20, 2012) Michiaki Hata, a non-government worker for IEMS-Japan, talks to Dr. Michael Owens during a Humanitarian Aid Disaster Relief training for Pacific Partnership 2012. Vietnam is the third stop for Pacific Partnership 2012. Previously the mission visited Indonesia and the Philippines. It will also visit Cambodia. Pacific Partnership, an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission now in its seventh year, brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region. KRISTOPHER RADDER - BRATTLEBORO REFORMER
Vermont State Police and the Westminster Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle incident at the intersection of Route 5 and Westminster Street around 5:10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. Westminster Fire Chief Cole Streeter said that a pickup truck, traveling north on Route 5, turned on to Westminster Street and cut in front of a motorcycle that was traveling south. The male subject of the motorcycle was flown by Albany MedFlight, from Brattleboro, for serious injuries while the female subject was transported to Springfield Hospital, in Springfield, Vt., for serious conditions. Cause of the incident is currently under investigation. The driver of the truck was taken into custody at the scene. Unknown charges at this time.

Students of U.S. Naval War College’s (NWC) 2022 graduating class participate in a commencement ceremony at NWC, June 10, 2022. The graduating class of 2022 included 305 resident students of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Space Force, federal civilian employees and 120 international students. About 70 recent alumni students, who missed the opportunity to "walk the stage," returned and participated in the ceremony. James Morgan, mission commander for Pacific Partnership 2012, paints a support beam at M'Lop Tapang School during a community service (COMSERV) project for Pacific Partnership 2012. KRISTOPHER RADDER - BRATTLEBORO REFORMER
Logan Sears, a harvester operator at Longview Forrest, cuts down trees while a group of people participate in a tour of an active timber harvest at Molly Stark State Park on Friday, Feb. 24, which was presented by Windham Regional Woodlands Association and Hogback Mountain Conservation Association.
The artistry and passion of the student-poets was on full display tonight at the 5th annual Teen Poetry Slam. Sponsored by Movement 515, there was plenty of snapping (and some crackling and popping) at Drake University's Performing Arts Hall as students in this nationally-recognized program performed their original works. Congratulations to Maddie Johnson (Roosevelt), Julio Delgadillo (North), Elhondra Brazzle (East), Jaleesha Johnson (East), Shaddai Johnson (Roosevelt), Miavliag Lee (Lincoln) and Tiana Warner (East) for earning spots to represent Des Moines at this summer's Brave New Voices Festival in San Francisco. And thanks to teachers Emily Lang and Kristopher Rollins for their leadership.

My first photoshoot!
I met Kristopher through an online networking site, and asked to photograph him after finding out that he was interested in working with photographers. Little did I know when I approached him that he himself is an established professional photographer back in Glasgow! I was nervous throughout the shoot, and poor Kris had to put up with my lack of direction during the session. Fortunately, he was lovely (and patient!) enough to spend the whole day with me at Hosier Lane, stripping down to his jocks in front of amused passerbys to get into his outfits, and even gave helpful tips from his own experiences with working with models. Thank you, Kris!
Hopefully I'd have more opportunities to work with him (and other people) in the future - especially now with my full time job! :- O
Highlights from The Kristopher Noble Memorial Car Show held at the Guesthouse Plaza Motel, Moundsville, WV.
Saturday, March 29, 2014 three District Attorney teams participated in the Fifth Annual “Big Russian Shootout”, the Norman Smith Memorial Basketball Tournament, to help raise money for the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center.
Mr. Watkins sponsored two of the teams and Marcia Taylor sponsored the third team. The office has been participating in the tournament since its inception when it was started by Assistant US Attorney, Taly Haffar, to honor Norman Smith, a Dallas police officer killed in the line of duty.
The teams consisted of Heath Harris, Brandon Birmingham, Taylor Toynes, Kristopher Price, Dimitri Anagnostis, Andrew Anagnostis, Justin McCants, Ryan Searcey, Herschel Woods, Drew Taylor, Roderick Brown, Andrew Novak, Joshua Abrams, Idris Akinpelu, and Law Chang.

PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2012) - Musician 3rd class Dwight Moffitt sings vocals with the Pacific Fleet rock band as they practice aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship UNSN Mercy (T-AH 19). Music is a common connector and the band is a key component of Pacific Partnership activities to help build relationships and exchange. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission designed to work by, with and through host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies to build partnerships and a collective ability to respond to natural disasters.
