A section of Pond Road, in Vernon, Vt., was closed off as crews from DJ’s Truck Service helped right a tractor-trailer that went off the road and rolled over between Sliver Lane and Lily Pond Road on Thursday, July 9, 2020. No injuries were reported on scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Having been together for three years, Weisse said they have been talking about it for a while. “We were look at doing a weekend getaway, to do something we love together, and came across the wedding event at Mount Snow.” Weiss added that it started as a joke, then they did the research and got the paperwork from the Clerks office in Dover. Weisse and Bruno were joined by roughly 50 other people who renewed their vows on top of the mountain.

It took nearly four days to harvest the field using a Pull Tight Pull Harvester. Crews used a truck that can carry six tons of feed back to the farm.

The fire, which was first called in at 7:58 a.m., was updated to a third alarm at 8:10 a.m. Crews shutdown a section of Putney Road as they tap various hydrants to help battle the blaze.
