Horseheads Central School's Blue Raiders faced off to Elmira Free Academy's Blue Devils during the homecoming game for Horseheads. Horseheads started to turn around the second half of the football game but didn't have enough momentum to win the game with a score of 34 to 38.

The fire, which was first called in at 7:58 a.m., was updated to a third alarm at 8:10 a.m. Crews shutdown a section of Putney Road as they tap various hydrants to help battle the blaze.
