(A: Combination of love for one's feet and ridiculous overreach of Law)

It's amazing when you realise something new. I was spending some time with Jesus tonight and he showed me some absolutely wonderful things. I serve an awesome God. My heart feels so full right now. No, life isn't peachy, but that's okay. I'm protected by the One who made the universe. And he loves me more than my mind can even understand right now.

I feel peaceful. So peaceful.

I will be okay. Jesus loves me. : )

Beyond Intellectual Profit: Using Classroom Knowledge in the Workplace: Featuring the dynamic motivational speaker Kirk Nugent, this daylong symposium focuses on putting into practice what we know about human difference.

The symposium, organized by Assistant Professor of English Their Pickens, asks students to consider how their knowledge translates from the classroom to the workplace. During the day, students can talk to alumni, potential employers, staff, and other professionals about what it means to "use" a Bates education. We will primarily focus on the way students translate knowledge about race/ethnicity, gender, ability, socio-economic status, and citizenship.

Panel includes David Bartage, Financial Manager, Proctor and Gamble; Tracey Thibodeaux, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, TD Bank; and David McDonough, director, BCDC.

Our students expanded their knowledge of Python by learning about lists. We started off this morning learning about basic lists but by the afternoon we were making two dimensional lists. They will use what they learned about lists to make a tic-tac-toe game. Our students are very eager to participate which has created an excellent classroom environment.
