The Blue Knights Little League Team presented Trooper Werner Forrester’s niece, Josie Manfre-Morey with a signed baseball from the team before playing at North Wall Little League in Wall, N.J. on Sunday, May 22, 2022. The Blue Knights represent fallen NJSP Troopers who have fallen in the line of duty by wearing the troopers badge numbers on their sleeves. On May 2, 1973, Trooper James M. Harper, stopped a Vermont registered vehicle and Trooper Foerster, backed up Trooper Harper. Shots were fired from within the vehicle at the troopers. There was an exchange of gunfire. In the exchange, Trooper Harper was wounded in the left shoulder and arm. Trooper Foerster was found near his patrol car, deceased. (New Jersey State Police / Tim Larsen)

The knight's armor is from the red knight, set 8780, theme 'Knights Kingdom'. I painted the armor to give it a 'mediaval time' look.
Knight is a social position and honour originating in the Middle Ages.Knights suppose to be brave, courageous, honorable, true to their word, and loyal to their feudal overlord, and to defend their faith.
In practice, most knights fall short of sustaining such high and noble ideals.

White Knight Two is roughly three times larger than White Knight, in order to perform a captive carry with the larger SpaceShipTwo spacecraft. The WK2 is similar in wingspan to a B-29 Superfortress. Despite that comparison, White Knight Two is a thoroughly modern aircraft - even the flight control cables are constructed of carbon fibre, using a new patented design.
WK2 will provide preview flights offering several seconds of weightlessness, before the actual suborbital event. It is intended to have a service ceiling of about 60,000 ft (18 km), offering a dark blue sky to passengers. This will allow tourists to practice before the real flight.
WhiteKnightTwo consists of a twin boom with two jet engines per hull. One hull is an exact replica of that of SpaceShipTwo (to allow tourist training), and the other will carry cut-rate day-trippers into the stratosphere.
The design is quite different from the White Knight, both in size, use of tail, engine configuration and placement of cockpit(s). The White Knight uses two T-tails, but the WhiteKnightTwo uses two cruciform tails. Engine configuration is also very different, with engines hung underneath the wings on the WhiteKnightTwo as opposed to engines on either side of the sole cockpit on the White Knight.
I've only recently noticed that Knights of Old have put names of knights of the round table on their lorries in the same vein as the Southern Railway did with its N15 4-6-0s...having checked a photo i took 2 years ago i find this is not a new thing but the names are so small as to be hard to see....KU63 NDL has "Sir Petipace of Winchelsea" applied,not a name i've ever heard of...Mar 13 2014.
