I don't have a cat... unfortunately. Knowledgeable people say that if a cat comes to you, it is no accident.
My cat loves to eat this plant. She nibbles on the flowers, leaves, and stems down to the shortest stubble. But then, a few days later, new shoots appear and they grow back. And so goes the life of the Kitty Nibble Plant... ;)
Yes, it's my granddaughter's adopted kitty, Socks.
Ok, this reminds me of an eye-related story .....here is a funny and true story to share with you:
I had a visit to my ophthalmologist the other day. The doctor seemed chatty, so that I started asking him, "Hey, you're Dr. Andrew Prince, did anybody ever crack joke about you?". He said, "Oh yeah! anytime when my patient got a reminder of the appointment, the caller ID would show, "Prince, Andrew". So people always got a kick out of it. He then, proceeded to tell me more about what happened to him. One day, he seeing a patient in his NYC office, her last name was "Ferguson". It turned out, "Yes, she was the ex-wife of Prince Andrew". She got my doctor's name through her publicist. So, she was in his office, and looked at his family photo and asked about his wife's name (and yes, Kate) and his son's name (and yes, William). Wasn't that some coincidence or what? The Duchess called Prince Andrew on the phone right away and relayed to the name sakes to him, and Prince Andrew told his wife (I wasn't sure if they were divorced at the time or not), "Tell Dr. Prince that he treats you better than I do". Well, the last sentence could be her make-up story. Anyway, this was the true event my doctor told me. The reason he & I had this conversation was because i was reading about Prince Andrew scandal in the waiting room, that's how this conversation began. :-)

Merlin ist der Bruder von Gismo, beide sind jetzt 10 Wochen alt.
Leider hat ihre Mama sich überhaupt nicht mit meinen älteren Katzen vertragen.
Meine Schwester war aber so lieb und hat sich ihrer angenommen und da ich den Kleinen behalten habe, gab es auch keine Probleme mit ihren Katzen.
Allerdings konnte (oder wollte) die vorherige Person seinen Bruder nun doch nicht aufnehmen, so das ich ihn ebenfalls zu mir geholt habe. Die Wiedersehensfreude der beiden süßen Kerlchen treibt mir jetzt noch die Tränen in die Augen, so das es mir unmöglich ist, meine Entscheidung zu bereuen.
Merlin is Gismo's brother, both are now 10 weeks old.
Unfortunately, her mom didn't get along with my older cats at all.
But my sister was so kind and took care of her and since I kept the little one, there were no problems with her cats either.
However, the previous person couldn't (or didn't want to) take his brother in after all, so I brought him in too. The joy of seeing the two sweet guys again brings tears to my eyes, making it impossible for me to regret my decision.
