Kitchen details, in the home of Claude Monet in Giverny (this is just my interpretation). Best in full screen.

It’s hard to choose just one favorite, but I would have to say it’s my collection of vintage kitchenware. The colors and designs are so cheerful - just looking at it makes me happy. I began collecting Cathrineholm enamelware over 10 years ago when it was more affordable than it is now. The Corelle “Spring Blossom”/“Crazy Daisy” pattern is still easy to find, cheap, and perfect for everyday use. Both of these patterns spark memories from my childhood and I think that is why I was initially drawn to them. The collection is dynamic and I regularly add new pieces as I find them in thrift stores, antique malls and flea markets. Other items in the collection that are not pictured include teak-handle silverware, Spring Blossom dinnerware and Pyrex bowls, metal recipe boxes, and a set of green Lincoln BeautyWare kitchen canisters from my Grandmother’s house. The irony of this collection is that I do not cook.

Made BW by 20 minutes! Whoot! :)
Other than a slight texture, this is pretty much SOOC.
I'm trying to develop better discipline with my composition so I left that distracting lens glare on the upper near-right-hand-side as a reminder :)
Two versions of a common kitchen utensil, also known as a fish slice, turner, or flipper outside of the United States. The spatula on the left is a standard-sized one.
As an essential tool used in making pancakes, the regular spatula serves its purpose, but its size is far from perfect when flipping pancakes any larger than about five inches (127mm) diameter. I put up with this issue for years, until I got frustrated and decided to search for a larger utensil, happening upon the one on the right. Even though it took some getting used to, it does a better job than a traditional spatula, thanks to its seven-inch-deep (177.8mm) paddle.

This is a household goods store built in the early Showa period (1926-1989). It was originally located in 3-chome, Kanda-jinbocho, Chiyoda Ward. It features a front wall covered in small copper plates ingeniously combined, while the interior is a reproduction of how the shop was in the 1930s. Tenement houses have been moved to the back of the shop to produce the street atmosphere that existed in those days.
I have a humble vintage milkglass collection, such as Pyrex, Fire King, Glasbake and the like.....in real, of course.
So imagine my excitement finding miniature counterparts. Thanks Re-Ment!
