This wonderful bowl and mug set is in great condition with no nicks or chips. The turquoise coloring is bright and charming, featuring kitchen utensils, a tea kettle and coffee pot, and a double boiler. I'm not sure who manufactured this set (Fire King, Hazel Atlas?) as there is no indication on the bottom. A wonderful addition to a pastel 50s kitchenware collection.

January 12, 2018. We went to CA Paradis/The Chef's Paradise in Ottawa to get some stuff to support Andrea's baking hobby. This store has pretty much everything you would need for cooking and baking (and is mostly likely our new go-to for kitchen supplies).

As part of my current uni brief we have to create a minimum of 3 studio images for a fictitious department store called 'harold's' each image must be shot to advertise products from a different department in the store. This is my first idea for the kitchenware department. I would really appreciate feedback both positive and areas for improvement so my idea can progess

It's so rad, she carries her famous tang cakes in this.

Description from Duane's Website:

El Pulpo Magnifico stands tall at 28 feet, a colossal octopus wrought from the remnants of discarded metal and aluminum, lovingly repurposed by Duane Flatmo, Jerry Kunkel, Will Startare and his dedicated crew in the bustling heart of Eureka, California.

Its gleaming skin, fashioned from the reflections of kitchenware and treasures unearthed from thrift store scores, glimmers like an explosion of diamonds against the dark night sky of the playa.

Eight sinuous tentacles undulate in a hypnotic rhythm and eight eyes peer into the very soul of onlookers, El Pulpo Magnifico unleashes its fiery breath, sending flames soaring 30 feet into the heavens above. It's a spectacle that conjures the imagery of a demented wind-up toy brought to life by a puppeteer with a love for glits and fire.

Equipped with a panel of control buttons, El Pulpo dances to the beat of its own fiery heart. Turning each performance into a visual symphony of fire and motion.

With 200 gallons of propane coursing through its veins, El Pulpo Magnifico chases away the chill of cold evenings, enveloping all who dare to behold its magnificence in a warm embrace of wonder and awe.

Re-used kitchenware at a thrift shop.

Excellent circa 1952 dinnerware with a spry rooster! It was a great vintage find.

My boyfriend's mom came over for dinner, and we had Prosecco but no wine glasses! So we drank the Prosecco out of juice glasses, like Italians drink wine. How Euro. Now, we can drink it in style. ($2 each, and they even match!)

Infuse your poultry with intriguing flavors using this vertical roaster - it will be the most flavorful and moist chicken you've ever had! Made of quality, 18/10 stainless steel, this roaster begins with a vertical roasting stand that attaches to a large, round drip tray (the stand collapses for easy storage). In the center of the drip tray sits a round dish with cone-shaped top. Fill the round dish with herbs, spices, cider, juices or beer; as your chicken rests on the stand, the aromas and flavors from the liquids and herbs pass through the perforations on the cone-shaped top, filling the cavity of the bird and adding moisture to the meat as it roasts. Instructions on using the vertical roaster are included.

Please note: The instructions for this item are listed on the box. There are no paper instructions included.

These are actually measuring cups that I bought in a kitchenware shop recently. They are made out of white plastic and I thought it was a bit of a different take on the normal babushka dolls as we know them. I was trying to get a white on white shot but then added the sepia instead - I found it really hard to get an evenly white background.
