Side project - painting the laundry cubby. Removed washer and dryer and then the shelving, and painted it all white.

New subfloor layer going down.

We ran new Pex water lines to replace the old lead-soldered copper lines. The Pex was run inside flexible metal conduit to protect from any rodents.

All the cabinets are out!

Someone with the initials "C.B." okayed this lazy susan cabinet when it was made.

This wall will get insulated, so we'll lose a bit of space, but it will be worth it.

Window looks out on back porch and yard.

Kitchen has been cleaned out in preparation for demolition. This is Gunny, taking advantage of the situation. :) She would not have been able to find room to sit up there before.

Large brick structure used to hold a wall oven. The oven was removed a while back as it was not working, and the cubby was used for appliance storage.

This project required a complete #kitchen remodeling plan including the conversion of a hallway closet into a service area with a wine cooler.
