Kick Ass by NACM Customs

The Port Of La Rochelle France - La Pallice.

Not a very nice looking port, very industrial and about 5 miles from town.

I had been off the ship into town and enjoyed what i seen in La Rochelle.

Standing on the cabin balcony i could see in the distance all this dust and hear noise so i zoomed in onto this and timed it just right.

A mechanical arm grabber was grabbing stones and dumping them down a metal funnel then the dust appeared.

It was some distance away so very pleased with the zoom and quality.

he's kicking -

These are everywhere in Stockholm right now. They still don't cause disorder but in worst case they might start to pile up. Luckily they have a sturdy parking mode and don't seem to fall easily.

Someone felt this was a good place to leave it and...walk from here? Not sure how people reason about where to pick up and where to leave them. I don't feel the need to use one, but you never know. Suddenly I stand on one trying to save a few minutes. :) ...no

There must arise a logistical challenge for whomever is responsible for recharging these things scattered around town. Are they trackable? How climate smart is it to constantly drive around collecting them? The customers hardly think it's their task to bring them to a service station when needed. The kick bikes end up like this. In the middle of a bridge :)

In a pit stop in Laos, I hung with a number of kids, and here's one playing some soccer.

Needed a new cover photo for the ol' facebook page.

my new entertainment: double exposure

My super bad ass Chuck Norris cross stitch piece, most definitely can kick your ass. And watch out - it can also stop time, roundhouse kick you to kingdom come, and just intimidate the S out anyone that stares at it for too long.

“I was lucky enough to travel with my parents my whole life. They took me on my first trip abroad when I was 9 months old. We were travelling outside of France three to four times each year; until I moved out and went on travels of my own. My parents were quite well off and they could have easily spent their money on fancy cars and expensive designer clothes but they had a passion for travelling and discovering foreign cultures. I remember amazing destinations like China, Egypt, Greece, the US… I spent my youth learning about new cultures, languages, food and meeting new exciting people. They eventually gave me the travelling bug. I left home, France, seven years ago and kept jumping from one country to another before settling in England. I think travelling makes you more flexible, open-minded, humble and brave. What I cherish the most from all these epic adventures are the long lasting friendships I made along the way. We’re all different yet all kick-ass little human beings!“

This is my younger daughter. We were at a cemetery in Sacramento recently and while we were waiting to meet up with some other relatives we went out to explore. We found this amazing, vibrant gingko tree. Surrounded by fir trees it was especially vivid.

I don't think that egrets have spurs, but their toenails look like they can scratch.
