LOL.
No pretty quotes or poems on this image. Because when I opened this in PS a few minutes ago, the first thing out of my mouth was...Wow, that's some kick ass bokeh. And that is how the title was born :)
The high winds speeds already are kicking up quite a bit of snow, but the swiftly moving eastbound Zephyr is definitely making its own contribution to the swirling white stuff as it crosses the grade crossing at Tolland.

During my photography tour to Myanmar last year, we were gallivanting in a small village in central Mynamar, in some very picturesque locations. At the hour of sunset, we found these guys engaged in a serious game of Kick Volleyball. The houses of the village in the background, and the colours of the evening sky added to the drama.
Kick Volleyball is like volleyball, played with feet instead of hands in several countries across South East Asia. The ball used is half the size of a regular volleyball, made with cane and responds very well to the kick. I guess it requires a considerable amount of skill-acquisition to play the game.

California Quail, Callipepla californica, Atascadero, California. These guys find seeds by scratching--sometimes vigorously, as here--at the ground with their feet. Here's you can see some seeds and grass this one has kicked up.
