The YouFab Global Creative Awards are our global awards celebrating digital fabrication.
Fab Meetup Vol. 5 will be happening a special way—as the YouFab 2016 Kick Off Party!The event will take place in two parts. The first part will be the introduction of YouFab Global Creative Awards by Co founder of FabCafe Bangkok Kalaya Kovidvisith. Working with the theme of technology and creativity, she will share her experience in MIT Media lab’s Affective Computing group and how the future will change with digital fabrication and how it's been changing its boundary. Entry to this month's special-edition Fab Meetup is free of charge.The second part features Prima Chakrabandhu Na Ayudhya from iced and Bit Studio. They’ll be giving presentations on their projects in the usual Fab Meetups style.
We welcome everyone to take part, whether you are considering sending in an entry to YouFab or not!

Fab Meet up is an event to share ideas and experience over a relaxing drink with the diverse crowd at FabCafe. At each event, 5 or 6 creators will make a short presentation related to the topic, “make” or “fab”. Everyone is welcome to join in the events!

With passions in technology and art, Kiattiyot "Boon" Panichprecha worked as Technical Director in VFX industry for Method Studio in Los Angeles and Framestore CFC in London. He got his Master of Computer Science from University of Southern California and Bachelor of Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. He founded Bit Studio in 2012.

Journalling reads: For most people seeing their little boy kick a ball is no big deal. But to me this was huge. You have always had some issues with coordination and balance. You found it so hard to concentrate and focus. But you have never given up on anything that you want to do. You dive right in and have a go, it doesn’t matter that you know the ball will never end up in the goal (or you might miss it altogether). You still try, that makes me so proud of you Lukas.
