WASHINGTON, DC - January 17, 2010: Washington Capitals defenseman Tom Poti (#3) makes a kick save on a shot by the Philadelphia Flyers Jeff Carter (#17) during a second period Flyers power play during their NHL ice hockey game at Verizon Center.

Woke up early Saturday to head up to the last bit of snow at Snoqualmie Pass. Dean is training a group of scouts to go climb Mt. Adams at the end of June, they were going to be practicing self arrest with the ice ax at the trail up to Guye Peak. I joined them to try out the crampons, we climbed about 600 feet, and then while they did training I glissaded to the bottom and headed home.

Our day trip to the Galapagos Islands from Manta, Ecuador.
