Ahmed put out a casting call on Model Mayhem asking for a photographer to catch his martial arts moves. I answered the call and we set this up. It was a heck of a walk from the hotel I was in but it was very much worth it, we shot for an hour and a half and I have quite a few usable images from it.
I was very fortunate we had an overcast day, it only took a flash or two on 1/4 power to completely control the ambient light and make it look like we shot in the middle of the night, it was about 5pm.

Cuenta la historia de Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), un geek estudiante de instituto americano que pasa desapercibido por todos. Como todo buen superhéroe, elige un nuevo nombre, ‘Kick-Ass’, y se hace de un traje y máscara para ponerse a trabajar en la lucha contra la delincuencia.
Sin embargo, no será fácil porque se verá perseguido por una variedad de personajes violentos y desagradables, entre los que se encuentran un par de vigilantes enloquecidos, y una niña de 11 años igual de friki que Dave llamada Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) y su padre, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

This show nicely how Winning Eleven X well descibe a situation similar to a really soccer match.
Just got back from a loooong weekend ski trip to Kicking Horse (Golden, BC). Lots of intermittent cloud -- one run would be bright and sunny, the next in the clouds with almost zero visibility.
Another sketchbook page. This movie totally rocked!! It's so refreshing to see a movie that doesn't compromise and it's not afraid to shock and stay true to the creators vision. A must watch!!!
