This photo captures a dynamic rugby match played under heavy rain, showcasing young athletes in action. The outstretched arm, and anticipated kick of the central player and the airborne rugby ball create a compelling sense of motion. The background, slightly blurred, features teammates in anticipation and spectators shielding themselves under umbrellas, emphasizing the intensity of the match despite the challenging weather conditions. The raindrops add a dramatic effect, enhancing the atmosphere of perseverance and sportsmanship. The composition effectively uses depth of field and natural lighting to highlight the subject while retaining context and emotion.
We are part way into a high kick. The kick continues till the foot meets the opposite hand at that height. I can do it.

Here in Mexico the movie premiered two months later than the United States (April 16 in United States and almost all the other countries, June 18 in Mexico) and for months I was hoping to see this movie and It was awesome, and it`s oficially my new favorite movie and now I'm obsessed with eveything about Kick-Ass. I have watched the movie 6 times (each one with different friends or family) and It's been great. BEST MOVIE EVER IN MY OPINION!!
Young masked hero Kick-Ass (AARON TAYLOR-JOHNSON) and the blade-wielding Hit Girl (CHLOË GRACE MORETZ) return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: ”Kick-Ass 2”.

My second sighting of the day of the Kicking Peacock Spider (Maratus calcitrans). I was mesmerized by the outstanding colours of this jewel of a spider. Sadly, no female caught his eye so I didn’t see him display, but he allowed me a few photos. There were quite a few of them at this location. When I checked on iNaturalist, all the M. calcitrans were significantly further south, mostly towards the ACT, so this was such a pleasant surprise to see in the wider Lithgow area!
