This is an 8mm cine camera made by Keystone in the USA in around 1959, it uses a clockwork wind and has a selenium meter with a built in needle, the lens consists of three turrets which are either a normal view or a tele zoom or a wide angle.
I have been dealing with an unpleasant incident on one of my Flickr photos recently, however one of my Flickr friends suggested it would be best if I got back to posting photos where I am smiling. That friend is right! . . . This photo was taken after the dance party subsequent to the Gala Dinner at Keystone. I got changed out of my dinner dress and into this outfit. I normally would wear some high heels or boots with this black leather skirt and blouse and not a pair of Danskin sneakers. However, having worn heels the two previous nights and and at the Gala Dinner, my toes were worn out and I needed to switch to sneakers if I was going to be able to dance with abandon! I hated compromising style for practicality, but it was worth it. . . . and who knows, maybe this look is more stylish than I realize!

Ramsay Keystone Bridge
.
Millions of tons of mining and logging materials have crossed the Black River on this stone arch bridge. Yet it’s no surprise that the Ramsay Keystone Bridge remains structurally sound. After all, it was built in 1891 — a newcomer compared to Roman stone arch bridges that have stood for 2,000 years.
.
The “keystone” refers to the last — and most important — stone added to the arch, the one at the top that holds the whole structure in place without mortar. The downward force on the arch spreads from the keystone to all the other stones. A wooden frame supports the arch during construction until the keystone is placed.
.
It isn’t know why the Chicago & North Western Railroad choose to build this bridge of stone so late in the 19th Century, but a bridge iron worker and railroad historian notes that this structure is well suited to the type of rock underlying it. The bridge, which cost $48,322 to build, consists of a series of arches, each with a keystone to lock it in place. The f-foot-thick blocks are limestone from Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The bridge is 45 feet long, 44 feet wide, and 57 feet high.

Saturday night banquet dress. Left the little black dress in the closet, went with the gypsy look.
Finally went with a look of my own. (It's been a long tiring weekend but I love it!)

Another version of an earlier shot, taken on Leanna's camera and forwarded to me by her. That was Thursday night waiting for the bus to the casino. If you like a venue with dim lights and no little kids or teenagers about, a casino is the place to go!
I always am impressed when video games can recreate real world areas with a touch of fantasy. I've started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 recently, and the experience of riding through the map and seeing different types of American scenery fly by reminds me of places I have traveled to and seen.
One of the latest miracles of digital art is Studio 346's Century of Steam, an in-development train simulator game which I have met several of the developers for. To say I am excited for the game to say the least is an understatement; and lately they have been sharing off images and video of a map they're developing called "Keystone."
The inspiration of the East Broad Top Railroad and the area surrounding the Aughwick Creek is quickly obvious in all the images of Keystone released so far; and it amazed me that after months of seeing the video game replica online; that to stand here in the real place I had a sense of deja-vu. I've had similar experiences in New York City (after playing a lot of Spider-Man 2) and in London (Assassins Creed Syndicate) where seeing the digital version acclamated my mind to the real place. Even if Keystone is not a 1:1 recreation of the real area, I have to praise the game creators for clearly capturing the feeling of being here in the flesh.
There's an art to trying to convey a place in a chosen medium, be it photography, landscape painting, or digital game creation; and I have to praise those who can pull it off.
