The special function goes by the misleading name of toy camera effect, but it simply adds vignetting and a wide aperture to create the illusion of looking through a keyhole.
After years of going here, I finally snagged a keyhole sunburst shot that I am happy with :) Check out the cool little foamy, with reflection, in the foreground :P
What do you see? An object on its side left to right, or an object tilting up right to left?
Hint: It's a tiny keyhole on a luggage lock, 24 image focus stack.
This is the keyhole on the old padlock which is normally on the garden gate - hence the weathered appearance. Out of the keyholes I have access to this was the most 'exciting'. Taken for Macro Mondays.
At the beginning of the year we went to the Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, California. This beach is famous for the keyhole, a hole in a rock out on the ocean. The sun light shines right through the keyhole at sunset, but only in December and January when the sun is low. This reflection shot is facing the rocks located in the ocean.
I processed a realistic, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

I took this photo while waiting on an old balcony with nothing to do.

Every day is spent juggling metaphorical spoons. This is one of them.

A wave pours through Keyhole Arch at Pfeiffer Beach, Big Sur.

Macro Monday - Keyhole
Taken at All Saints Church, Barling Magna, Essex
(Top to bottom measures 5.3cm)
The church is built of Kentish ragstone and is a fine example of Norman Church architecture.
This keyhole is located at the 'South Door' entrance believed to be from about the 12th Century and is now housed within a gabled South Porch added in the 19th Century !!

This is a fake lock on my dresser drawer. In order to create some interest I drilled a 3mm hole and put a red flashlight inside the drawer. Thanks to anyone for a like or comment. HMM!
A slow restart to night sky photography following the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Dispersed camping (by definition social distancing!) is permitted, and I took a trip to the Gila National Forest in southwestern New Mexico at the start of northern hemisphere Milky Way season.
A shoot full of glitches as I warm back up to my techniques and equipment--this image is missing one shot in the middle of the sequence, making it overly choppy.
If you look closely, you'll notice a shooting star. In reference to asteroids or comets, the keyhole refers to the trajectory that will bring the object into a collision course with earth--a small window, but when applied to the billions of objects near earth orbit, it happens frequently and within my field of view on this night (probably just burnt up in the atmosphere).
In this image, I just imagined the keyhole as the opening in the tree where Polaris appears. Don't forget to look up, especially if the world seems to be too small or closed in these days!
Peace and cheers!

The keyhole on our roll top desk. This Eagle's total wingspan actually measures almost six inches in width but I cropped it down to two and one half.
Even though there wasn't any electricity in the house and the windows were all boarded up there was a bright light shining through a keyhole. The door must have been nailed shut from the other side because I couldn't get it open. My breath was condensing into vapor across the beam of light in the freezing temps.
Rattlesnake Canyon is a wilderness area in the McInnis Canyons Recreation Area, and is immediately to the west of Colorado National Monument. The canyon is best know for a series of arches on the eastern side of the canyon that makes it the greatest concentration of arches outside of Arches National Park. Note the window or arch to the left of Keyhole.
