Modelado en Rhino, Render en Keyshot, Post en Lightroom y Photoshop.
This week was an experiment on several levels. My original model got sick so I had to improvise on a pretty short deadline. I decided to try a more direct CG composite than I’ve done before and in order to do this I used a couple of programs that I haven’t used for a full project in the past. I used Zbrush to sculpt and texture the thing on the model’s back and the cables and then lit and rendered it in Keyshot. I then took the rendered version into Photoshop for compositing and final touch up.
For the photo itself, I used three flashes setup around my model to create an interesting and dynamic lighting situation like you might find in a sci-fi movie. I also shot in the sports medicine room to try to mimic a medical "operating room" scenario.
This fits my concentration because it has vibrant color, is very high contrast, includes advanced compositing, and is color graded in a cinematic way.
