23.04.2014 - the last day of the 2014 Easter Show - a very large crowd, despite some exhibits starting to close, and be dismantled.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show, also known as the Royal Easter Show or simply The Show, is an annual show held in Sydney, Australia over two weeks around Easter. It is run by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales and was first held in 1823. Queen Victoria, (1837–1901), awarded the society and its show the right to use the word "Royal" in its name.

The Show is historically an event where "city meets country" and the rural industries of Australia can be shown and celebrated once a year.

The Show comprises an agricultural show, an amusement park and a fair and combines the elements of each, showcasing the judging of livestock and produce. This comprehensive fair has many competitions including arts and crafts, photography and cookery, as well as tests of strength and skill such as wood chopping.

The Show also has shopping, restaurants, commercial stands and exhibits, a horticultural display, a national accredited conformation dog show and cat show, and stage and arena shows.

The Show currently attracts over one million people per year.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the largest event held in Australia, and the sixth largest in the world.

The other day our neighbor gave the little man a ride on his shoulders. I guess the little man thinks it's his civic duty to do the same for others, but only Kermit the Frog was the right size for it.

The Muppets are a group of puppet characters created by Jim Henson. Individually, a Muppet is one of the puppets made by Jim Henson or his company's workshop. Although the term is often used to refer to any puppet that resembles the distinctive style of The Muppet Show, the term is both an informal name and legal trademark linked to the characters created by Henson.

The word "Muppet" itself was said by Henson to have been created by combining the words "Marionette" and "puppet". However, Henson was also known to have stated that it was just something he liked the sound of, and he made up the "marionette/puppet" story while talking to a journalist because it sounded plausible.

Kermit the Frog is playing with my magnifying glass. It seemed Kermit was having fun. He told me that he saw something he couldn't see with his general eyes. He keeps my magnifier since then, never let me to use it again!

*p.s. I am suffering+frustrated with the uploading problems these days. Really not an easy job for me anymore to get pictures uploaded, with both uploadr (v1.1 & v2.1) & web form. Pictures can only be uploaded if i am lucky enough to connect with Flickr and use more than 3 hours for 1 picture (it sucks!!). Some Flickr folks are also victims of this bug. (January 8, 2009) Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Sweetums take part in the new “Disney’s Honorary VoluntEars Cavalcade” that debuted today at both Disneyland park in California and Magic Kingdom park in Florida. The cavalcade celebrates volunteerism and also features special floats and vehicles festooned with bright balloons and flanked by parade dancers. “Disney’s Honorary VoluntEars Cavalcade” precedes “Celebrate! Quirkee finally got sleeping eyes, (it's a huge hassle with SBLs, don't know WHY I keep trying to do it! Nerve-wrecking to get the plates off and then back on again...) so I gave her 2 new pullstrings, one purple glittered one and a fuchsia tassle.

As charms I gave her a metalic braided bead with a purple centre, and a purple Matroyska doll. (Babuschka, we call them, I think)
