I went out to get some catnip for the other cats in the home and came back to find Aom hugging this gorgeous kitten. It was love at first sight, just like with Sammy, so we had no hesitation in taking him on. So far he appears a confident little kitten and is enjoying his new found freeom and opportunity
(August 21, 2013) Congressman Ed Royce visits the Baan Kredtrakarn Protection and Occupational Development Center in Pak Kred.
For at effektivisere lastning og losning, og ikke mindst for at mindske antallat af ridser og buler, opfandt kloge japanere et sindrigt system til lastning af bilerne. Biler til det meste af Vesteuropa blev lastet efter systemet "Counter Clockwise Stovage" (modsat uret), men biler til England blev lastet "Clockwise" (med uret).
I praksis foregik det på den måde, at bilerne blev stillet i rundkredse mod uret, man startede med at stille en bil helt ude i borde, næste bagved, indtil første kreds var slut. Man kunne altid komme ud af venstre fordør. Næste kreds blev lavet indenfor den første, og sådan fortsatte man til man nåede centrum. Når bilerne skulle losses, var der stadig fri adgang til venstre fordør på bilerne, efterhånden som losningen skred frem. Og når man lastede biler til engelske havne var det altså bare spejlvendt.
Da "Jinei Maru" lossede, var det første gang der skulle losses efter det nye system. Inden losningen blev påbegyndt, blev der derfor vist en film for havnearbejderne, så de kunne se hvordan lastningen var foregået, og hvordan losningen skulle foregå. Derefter var det bare at gøre film til virkelighed, og det lykkedes.
Havnearbejderne fik skam deres timebetaling for at se filmen, som varede 20 minutter.
