New to South Yorkshire PTE

The other two Metrobuses were dual-door ex London examples, the exception being this former South Yorkshire and Midland Fox vehicle with a Rolls-Royce engine. Busview records it as having previously been converted to open-top and then re-roofed, which seems highly unlikely.

The Eurolines origins are more obvious on this vehicle that retained its red stripe. KMP's coach fleet was latterly standardised on Volvos but in the early days Fords were preferred and several Leyland Tigers also operated.

KMP's prime service was an intensive route from Llandudno to Llangefni, which at this time was principally operated by low-floor Darts. These were later replaced by a fleet of Wright-bodied Volvo B7RLEs but these buses and the route were sold to Arriva in 2008, a few months before the remaining business was purchased by Padarn.
