This Kindle Case was made for my friend Valentina. It is my first attempt of quilt-as-you-go and I really enjoyed making it (especially because of these beautiful colours)!

PS: Sorry for the bad quality of this picture

Here's my K1 next to my new DX. I love the DX but I'm keeping my K1 for reading novels and regular non-fiction on.

The DX is superb for PDFs (which is primarily what I bought it for).

Cool bookmark made by Judith Hayman that I won at the Interfilk auction at ConCertino. It now has a place of honour in my Kindle folder.

A special thanks to Sloane/ Winks and Giggles for these AMAZING dresses! They're so soft and beautiful. I had a hard time picking which one I wanted more, and I'm soo glad to have both!! Love them!!

I buy an amazing amount of books from Amazon and their subsidiary, AbeBooks. Really. Last year? 144. So I was a bit surprised when I heard about their Kindle promotion that they offered to their big time book buyers. Certainly I was amongst their target audience! Not only do I buy a ridiculous number of books, but I have their Kindle app on my iPhone and have read books on it via their app and others. So I asked them if they could extend their offer to me. Nope.

Too bad, I would have given the Kindle a fair shake. I like the whole eInk concept. Instead I'll skip right past it and get myself an iPad. Heck, their could be three iPads in the house once it is released and I've tried it out.

Case made for Kindle 3. Black and White with a pink snap to add some fun :)

Marginal Way Walkway, Ogunquit, Maine

Just returned from a week in the Florida Keys. We had to deal with some record rainfall in the first part of the week but when the sun came out is was nice to relax on the beach and do nothing!

Kind of messy, but doesn't show when my Kindle is in there.

I knit a Kindle case out of some rainbow acrylic yarn from my childhood. It's too big and I don't like the way it gapes open, so I might redo it.

Kindle caprichín de navidades

Book-style Kindle cover, made from reused wool.

Tutorial available on my blog (see profile).

The Boxwave Messenger Pouch for the Kindle 2, in black synthetic leather (also available in white.) A much thicker, more protective case than I was expecting, it's a simple envelope-style sleeve made to fit the naked Kindle 2 and lined with velvet. A Kindle in a decorative skin fits just fine.

made from my spoonflower fabric.

I made this for my husband's Kindle and used eamylove's 'linen pocket ereader cover' pattern.

Great pattern and handy large pocket on the front.

It's a thing of beauty. ;o)

The Boxwave Messenger Pouch for the Kindle DX, in black synthetic leather. Each side of the pouch is almost the same thickness of the Kindle, making it slightly more than double the thickness of a naked Kindle. Even so, it's not bulky, and is thinner than my other Kindle DX cases.

The Box is actually very small...

It's decision time again! I'm leaning towards the purple (I'm sure you're shocked) but also considering a black or brown case for my new Kindle DX Graphite, to go with my current DecalGirl Infinity skin. (Of course this one turned out a little blurry.
