It was just an utter joy to take pics of these two. Im just so amazed at the the closeness and love they show the camera. Happily ever after does still happen..=)

3 year-old orang utan, born at Monkey World in Dorset and raised by his mother, Hsaio-Quai.
Monkey World is a rescue centre for apes and monkeys, and also participates in breeding programmes for rare and endangered species.

Fang and Vanille of FF13, in the Playarts Kai series.
While I like the quality of the plastic better and the flexibility of the characters' joints, I'm not terribly impressed by the face sculpts. And the biggest issue? WTF is with the proportions? I'm not talking about the Kai versus the original PA figures, I'm talking about between these two from the same series!
Fang and Vanille are not accurately proportionate to one another. Maybe that's not very clear in this picture, I didn't take the time to pose them, but Fang's face is narrower and slightly (but noticeably) smaller than Vanille's. It's very disconcerting.
My favorite think about Vanille: you can turn her pigtails! This amused me for several minutes when I took her out of the box. :p
