The LEGO Store in Elmhurst, Queens, NY held a building event in honor of their 1st Birthday. The event is a new format as no master builder from LEGO was in attendance.

1 part of the building area was reserved for people who wanted to free build using red 2x4 and 2x8 bricks.

The other part of the building area was reserved for those who wanted to help build a 6 foot tall model of the Ninjago minifigure Kai. This model was put together twice throughout the weekend!

Thank you Richard, Joseph and Bryant for treating us so well throughout the weekend.
