Final updates for Kai:
I brought back his v1 magma daggers but upgraded. The daggers can be attached to the side of his "skirts".
His blade is also updated and it can be attached to the back now after some adjustments to the back.
When a door closes, a window opens.
While this should be taken figuratively, May’s bridesmaids put a literal spin on this old proverb as they barred the door and watched Kai Hoe complete the challenges they had prepared through an open window. And owning the Gangnam style and waxing his tummy hair weren’t enough to clear the way to his bride until he vanquished all the trials set before him.

Tom Yam Kai
3 lemon grass stalks
25g fresh ginger
4 small green chillies
1.5 litres chicken stock
4 large chicken thighs
150g button mushrooms
50g green beans
4 spring onions
1 tbsp coriander leaves
3 limes
2 tbsp nam pla (fish sauce)
Smash the lemon grass stalks with something heavy to split them. Peel and finely slice the ginger, cutting it into matchsticks. Place the lemon grass, ginger, chillies and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a saucepan with the stock. Bring to the boil ans simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks. Wipe, then quarter the mushrooms. Top and tail the beans and slice into small pieces. Finely slice the spring onions. Coarsely chop the coriander. Fish the lemon grass out of the stock and, if you are a chilli freak, finely slice the chillies and return.
Stir the juice from 2 of the limes and the fish sauce into the pot, then add chicken & mushrooms. Cook gently for 10 minutes without boiling. Add the beans and spring onions. Cook for a further couple of minutes, stir in the coriander leaves and serve with a wedge of lime and a bowl of plain rice.

So very few of these family run places from the '50's and '60's left. As it is, this structure with its wonderful sign/facade is dwarfed by Embassy Suites and the Trump right next door.
This is a custom order for a friend. I used for the first time a cat-themed fabric for a kai no kuchi box. And it turned out to be very cute!
