This is a long stairway leading up to the base of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The Jupiter Lighthouse is located in Jupiter, Florida, on the north side of the Jupiter Inlet. The lighthouse was was built on an Indian shell mound and was completed in 1860 at a cost of more than $60,000. The top of the 105-foot tower is 146 feet above sea level.
