June's dream is to tell stories.
June Arunga is currently a self-described seeker. Her ultimate destination is unclear, but she says that she has found tidbits of key elements in economics, anthropology, history, science, life, people, and "everything in between and beyond". Her family is from Kenya and she has been formally educated in the UK. She speaks in an engaging and excited royal tone, quickly looking up and down the canal, analyzing everything. She asks me a lot of strange questions and quickly processes the answers.

On Thursday 7, the blockades from the previous day continued, with hundreds of protesters sleeping on the different roads leading to Heiligendamm. But the main action took place in Hinter Bollhagen, one of the 2 entrances to the "red zone" : thousands of people gathered on the fields in front of the fence, while police deployed their full arsenal (troops dropped by helicopters, horses, dogs, and no less than 8 water canons). A couple of isolated people managed to run to the fence and where immediately seized. The mood was however quite relaxed, with very little violence ( a few stones and bottles thrown at some point). The police eventually cleared the field with water canons, and (once and briefly) some tear gas.

It's June, it's summer so it's an opportunity to try out some new outfits. And a bit of a departure from my usual dresses, trying out a denim mini skirt and (yikes!) bare legs!
I decided to change into a red cami top in order to watch the Champions League final, as I follow Liverpool. While not the most entertaining game I have ever seen, it was a great night!
Well this got deleted again so I'm not sure what is up with my Flickr account but yeah. Here is my fallschwirmjager pic from a while ago!

Realizing I'm over a year behind on posting pics, I'm going to try posting by month, and play a bit of catch up. Presenting June of '17 ( a busy time that saw a lot of outfits, a lot of adventures, and my first time attending Pride as me :D ).

June 24th - Something Round
Having to shoot and run tonight, so keeping it simple. The butterflies are already attracted to these flowers and are becoming frequent visitors.
