Plus bubbles, lemon drops, note book, licorice, flip flops (austin ones), a handmade card with her note, Carmex & crepe paper. Oh and I thought my cat was matching quite nicely!. FINALLY ... we can see the Bahubali monolith. The statue was bathed with an yellow stain, that we were told, was because of the Mahamastakabhisheka ceremony in Feb 2006 (this is held every 12 years). In this event the statue is bathed with thousands of litres of milk and saffron. The color is because of the saffron.

One gloomy day not too long ago I decided to play with Gigi in the Photoshop playground. First
up was desaturation but that was way way too gloomy on a June day. To that I added yellow and
red to make sepia. Ah, better! A bit of color to alleviate the June gloom. Then another light bulb
lit up in my head... What would inversion do to each of these? Hehehe... :o)
The desaturated version became mostly a rich black, which reminded me of film noir. The rusty sepia tones turned a lovely light sky blue with a blue, not black, feather. However my favorite
is the original Gigi. Her inversion took on a phosphorescent glow behind a matt black feather.
All the inversions look best on black. (L)
Which one or ones do you like best, my Flickr friends? They are all in the comments below...

This was the cover shot (although the magazine cropped it a little more) for the Bite edition in June. It was shot at Harvey Nichols (which you can't recognise) in the Forth Floor (ditto - and the spelling's correct: you can see the River Forth from the fourth floor restaurant) with a professional model (which you can't see). I figured it was a restaurant guide afterall, not a model one.
