What is flickr without flowers and a jump shot? This was taken at Morro bay, Califonia.
Wow what a day! Woke up at 4am (don't ask why) ran a 5k race and missed my target by 5 seconds! (trying to break 20 min and managed a 20:04 - still very happy) and had a great time at the tax workshop...

I had another photo session at White Sands today. Such a fun and not-afraid-to-be-silly family! LOVED it! My weekend was wonderful! Hope yours was too! =)

...to the last bit of a (/an almost) summer day.
The funniest and most entertaining part of taking this shot was not the numerous passing cars or the couple taking an evening stroll and asking me if they could take my picture for me. Nope.
It was the chorus of neighborhood dogs barking at me while I set up my tripod, framed my shot, and of course, set off the music-to-their-ears chiming of my remote timer. I'm pretty sure my two dogs were a part of that serenade!

I've been jumping in my 365's lately... a lot. It reminds me of the one fine art photographer who began doing nothing but jumping portraits because according to him, it revealed the 'real' person inside.
I think the photographer was Philippe Halsman.
i can promise you this though, my next 365 will also be another jumpshot :)
