Canada Day weekend in Ottawa promises to be extra warm with an expected high of 36°C, which will feel like mid 40's with the Humidex. As much as I'd like to partake in the party up at the Hill, I think I'll keep away from the crowds and crazy heat by staying inside with the air conditioned comforts of home!
For those who are wondering what "humidex" means, it's short for humidity index. It's a number used by Canadian meteorologists to describe how hot the weather feels to the average person, by combining the effect of heat and humidity.

Many of the houses, all around Ottawa, were proudly displaying their red maple leaf! The weather has been extremely hot, close to 40 Celsius so the crowds in all the wonderful events throughout the city have been significantly smaller than other years!

Continuing my Toy-ronto Life series...
Happy Miniature Sunday, special Canada Day edition! :-)
This holiday week I cast some globular digi-magic on Toy-ronto :-) and decorate the little planet with our beautiful Canadian flag :-)
And have to say again, summer is so perfect now here with nice sunny spells and tender curtains of clouds that helps to keep all our green, well, green :-)

White Rock has a train that runs really close to the beach, and on Canada Day (July 1st), there were many people walking on the tracks. Fortunately, no accidents.
