We teamed up with Joining Hearts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing support to people living with HIV and AIDS in Atlanta, to host the charity's annual Valentine's Day themed, Love on the Rocks event at our Atlanta showroom on Sunday, February 8. The sold-out event was a huge success, raising nearly $25,000 from ticket sales and the silent auction! Thanks so much to the amazing community in Atlanta and all our friends that came out to support!

When I was singing, I was singing Lead. I will be retiring from my full time job of 30 years as the Director of Finance/Admin & Human Resources on December 31, 2014. My hobbies are gardening, taking nature walks, fishing and visiting wineries. I have 1 daughter (Katie) 2 Step daughters and 3 grandchildren (Cody, Samantha & Damien). I've been married for 27 years.
AFGE joined community advocates and labor unions for the #ProtectMyVote rally on the steps of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court heard oral arguments on an important case brought by Demos and the ACLU on behalf of the A. Philip Randolph Institute and the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless. The case is a challenge to Ohio’s voter purge practices vis-à-vis the National Voter Registration Act (Motor Voter).

Only Lycabettus Hill has a better view over Athens than does the Acropolis, because from Lybabettus Hill you can see the Acropolis from above! On our last day of our Athens visit for the announcement of Aegean Airlines' joining the Star Alliance, two other journalists and I climbed the hill to the funicular railway tunneled into Lycabettus Hill so that we could get to the top quickly.
