Job interviews are already a pain in the neck, and to add to that interviewers somehow manage to ask you the most annoying interview questions that they possibly can. We all have answered them – What are your weaknesses? Why should we hire you? And my personal non-favorite: “Where do you see you...

Why Body language?
More than 90% of our communication is conveyed by non-verbal means. Body language is the main factor in such communication. This is an ancient form of interaction that is even more evident in the animal world. The non-verbal messages are mostly perceived in our unconsciousness leading us to a hunch or a feeling regarding a person or a situation: “I don’t like him, I can feel he is lying” or on the positive side, “I immediately felt connected to her”.
Body language can be used to improve your negotiation skills, your presentation ability and in different social interactions, including a romantic date.
If it is a natural form of communication, why do I need to learn it?
Only a small percentage of the population perceive the non-verbal signs at the consciousness level and can use body language as a tool to “read” others and to present themselves and their messages in a reliable way. These people can create empathy, detect lies within seconds, and feel immediately when it’s the right time to close a deal. Others can learn it; many politicians practice body language techniques and use personal training for these purposes. Similarly, police and security experts are trained to understand body language as a tool to detect lies. In the corporate world, body language interpretation is a key tool in the interview and hiring process of new employees. Some companies even have a body language expert present during interviews and as part of a negotiation team for large-scale deals.
Why cards?
Mastering the secrets of the body language might be complicated. Body Language is a visual mode of communication- you cannot learn it just from reading- you need to see it. Body Language Cards do just that; they flood your consciousness with the visual gesture and connect it to its meaning.
Most important: It works!!!
Body Language Cards are used as an integral part on professional body language courses; they are practiced as an educational devise in corporations; Body Language Cards are even used in psychology courses in colleges all over the world as they were recently translated in 4 additional languages

Ok, I had a killer job interview today... amazingly, considering I only had 2.5 hours of sleep.
This is how I look after being up at 6am, interview at 8am, first day of internship at 10am, night shift at 5pm, get home at 11:45pm, get out of those shoes and dress shirt immediately, open a Hoegaarden, and snap a 365 just before midnight.
Oh how I want that job! I will drop everything else for it and it would be very very very worth it.

Job seekers are eager for getting a good job, but they rarely stop to figure out why they still have a good one, do they? So, now is the time to think why "we" still don't have a good job. There are three questions you should ask yourself.
What do I really want to do and want to be?
What can I do for this company and will this company give me exactly things I want?
Can what do I want to be equivalent with what I can do?
In fact, before job interview, the candidates should first of all figure out "what do I really want and who I really am. That can be called self-positioning. Generally, most of us will spend the most part of our life on working, which has a great impact on our life, physically and spiritually. Therefore, to find out "what do I want" is the most important thing for now, and you From this point of view, the salary should not be your most concern while looking for a job, particularly, your first job. If don't know yourself, you will always be the follower, following what is said to be the best.
After positioning, you then ask yourself why you apply for a job in this company, not other companies instead, and what can you contribute for this company. Actually, this is what interviewer concerns most. In addition, you imagine that will this company give you exactly things you want.
Lastly, can what do I want to be equivalent with what I can do, or rather, demand meet supply? As for the employers, they love people can give more to the company than what they ask for. As for the job seekers, they need to think carefully and then make a choice.

Day 365!
Tons and tons of change in my bag, figured I'd use them for the final day of my photo project. In a way I've changed a lot since I started this project and so much has happened, from the good to the bad and vice versa. I'll still be keeping up on this project, because as lame as this sounds, I feel as if my life has way more in store.

I got a phone call today informing me that I am a finalist for this position I have been waiting to hear about. My second and final interview is scheduled for Monday and I am both excited and nervous about it--so close and yet so far!
