I'm about to leave for my first librarian job interview. Wish me luck.

However, on the other hand, I do not mean that you can or must not move your body. Actually, proper actions and body language might help you look more confident, telling others you are listening and making others understand you better. It will gain you more scores from the HR. Nevertheless, if you stay quietly and silently without any actions, HR will easily think that your mind has traveled around the world but not his or her words. Of course, HR will never hire one who even has no little attention to his or her short words.

Secondly, I want to tell all the interviewees that you should try to avoid some body language hinting your nervousness, or you will make big mistakes.

I had a jobinterview as a secretary in a lawyersoffice. I didn't know whether to look smart, sexy or official. I asked Jane for advice and she made me wear her cardigan with my skirt again. I don't mind, I love Jane's sweet cardi's.

At the interview, the lawyerguy kept looking at me like he wanted to have me on his lap all day. I decided not to take the job.

Instead I went for a coffee on a terrace as the weather was fine. There the men were also looking at me like they wanted me on their lap. I figured it had something to do with the way I dressed today.

I went home to read a book.

I gathered these photos this morning as I was awaiting a telephone interview for a new job. I really, really, really want this job and I was looking for some visual inspiration. Thank you, photographers for helping to stimulate the right mind-set going into the interview. I do believe that it went super well!! I'll find out if I made it to the next step sometime next week. Fingers crossed! (later update: didn't get the job .... waaaa!)

All the these photographs are the property of the talented photographers listed and linked below. I hope you take the time to explore their photostreams because they are chock full of incredible photos. Enjoy.

My hair looks like it's stuck in my mouth, but if i'm honest, i look WAY better than i did in the other photo.

Hey guys! Went to the mall today for a job interview. I was uhmm, two and a half hours earlier cause there'd be no one to drop me at the right time. So better be eariler than late right? :D

Anyways, for almost two hours, I shopped a bit. I passed by the usual stores I go to.. Nordstrom, Zara, American Apparel, dELiA's, PacSun, UO, & claire's. Oh wait, and Apple Store. Hee! So yeah. That's the only photo worth uploading here cause the other photos I took are either inclined (unexplainable angle shot) or blurry. Lulz.

So there, that's one cutesie bag from UO, my fave store! :)

Probably the biggest day of my career life tomorrow. I'm interviewing for two jobs, one of which is all but a lock, and just what I want. Thank god for ambien, I'm off to take one soon.

Self portrait done with a Minolta MC Rokkor-X 50mm f1/.4 (at f/5.6 or so). One umbrella with and old sigma flash shot Rembrandt style. I certainly could do better but was so happy to have my EM-5 back I had to mess with it a bit before my FL-600r arrives.

I don’t give a fuck what you think.

What is the best job in the world? Where is it?

People all want to have a best job, and they often focus on what is the best job in the world and where is it? but they rarely stop to figure out why they still have a good one, do they? So, now is the time to think why "we" still don't have a good job. There are three questions you should ask yourself.

What do I really want to do and want to be?

What can I do for this company and will this company give me exactly things I want?

Can what do I want to be equivalent with what I can do?

In fact, before job interview, the candidates should first of all figure out "what do I really want and who I really am. That can be called self-positioning. Generally, most of us will spend the most part of our life on working, which has a great impact on our life, physically and spiritually. Therefore, to find out "what do I want" is the most important thing for now, and you From this point of view, the salary should not be your most concern while looking for a job, particularly, your first job. If don't know yourself, you will always be the follower, following what is said to be the best.

After positioning, you then ask yourself why you apply for a job in this company, not other companies instead, and what can you contribute for this company. Actually, this is what interviewer concerns most. In addition, you imagine that will this company give you exactly things you want.

Lastly, can what do I want to be equivalent with what I can do, or rather, demand meet supply? As for the employers, they love people can give more to the company than what they ask for. As for the job seekers, they need to think carefully and then make a choice.

I was hanging out at Temp* in Turku on saturday evening, when this girl walked by and came in for job interview. Although first she claimed that this 'club' had stolen her feather jacket (until she understood that this actually is not a club, but an office with a street view... =)
