One of a pair, it was once mounted on rails - the wheels are still present.

These guns featured in an add for the jobhunting website Seek.com.au - being examined by the fictional Cannon Inspector - a job advert for the Cannon Inspector was also put up on the seek website as part of their marketing campaign.

Hi, everyone. I have been so busy I have not had time for Flickr. I am job hunting and I am on the computer but searching for jobs. Not just on Craigslist but looking for websites of companies that have a Career tab that i can click on to look for positions. I have applied for about 50 jobs and have gotten calls back on about two. And those are for $8/hr. I do have a part time night job doing inventory and I will be going to that in a few hours. I start at 10 pm and tonight it's at Macy's. Not much money doing that either, but I need something.

How Do I Get a Job is a new comprehensive guide to empower you to get the job of your dreams in these difficult times, the truth of the matter is there are thousands of vacancies even in a recession, but you have to have the right strategy in place to outsmart the fierce level of competition.

Inevitable Question 18a:

Can you perform in a typical male corporate culture?

I have absolutely NO issues with men! I am a woman with BALLS and STILETTO heels of at least 8 inches!

Within the existing borders I'm a sheep with 5 legs that thinks out of the box 24/7!!!

NB: In Dutch 'a sheep with 5 legs' is a person that can do the impossible!

It's been FOREVER since I uploaded anything on Flickr. I've been job hunting and I'm very close to signing with a design firm. While job hunting, I re-designed everything from my Portfolio layout to my Website www.dhareza.com. My cat has been a major source of inspiration so here he is.

Have been hunting job lately.

Job hunting is stressful enough! having no job that I could apply is not good! and taking this photo didnt release much stress at all but make it even worse!

I have been struggling so much to get this photo, the way to squash the paper, I just couldn't get the way i like it! and the editor's name outshone the "Job Hunting", and the lighting. even seeing them in computer, picture after picture, crop after crop, and adjusting the colour. EVERYTHING!

I guess seeing this paper by itself is stressful!

btw this is for ODC theme, Stressed

and wish me luck in job hunting :P

This is me ready for my second job interview!! oO exciting things!! I got the job this time!! I looked a lot smarter!

I received a phone call yesterday, requesting me to provide a résumé for the position I'm wanting in Atlanta. It sounds like several people at work are interested in the positions in Overland Park and Atlanta. Not surprising, really. I think you'd have to be nuts to prefer to get laid off in this economy, when your employer is offering you the opportunity to stay with the company.

Polishing up my résumé last night reminded me of just how much I *hate* having to look for a job. So, since I *am* debt-free, I drew up a plan. An escape plan. It will apply whether I get the job in Atlanta or not. It's purpose is to provide me with an action plan to get my ass out of telecom—permanently. I see it as absolutely do-able, too. Being debt-free, for me, is the key. I can now, if I have to (or if I want to), take a job doing just about anything, as long as I can make enough to meet the few expenses that I do have.

Well, towards the end of my day out of town, as I was in San Jose, stopping before making the main run towards home, I checked my business email, and found that one of the places I applied and tested to shot me down within 18 hours of my testing. I'm not very happy about it, in fact, I felt like crying, and I've been upset about it.

I guess I had to stop and make myself feel better. I picked up a couple of basic nighties (I wanted some color, and I like the Pac-Man one! ^_^:) and a pair of sandals. (I guess this means I'd better step up the skin care lotion regimen on my feet, and pay more attention to my toenails.)

I think I'll wear the Pac-Man nightie to bed. I'll be there within moments of this.

Hmmmm. :(

I was invited by the editors of Merge magazine to design the cover of their May 2009 edition. The brief was to deliver pixel art, illustrating an article about jobseeking in the current economic climate.

Merge is a free lifestyle magazine for teens and twenty-somethings, with a focus on Adelaide's creative pulse.

This is one of the images designed to run with the article. The large gap in th middle is designed to accomodate a page fold.
