Putting their skills to the test, participating youth were able to speak with prospective employers during the final day of the "I NEED A JOB! Workshop and Job Fair" held at South Greenville Recreation Center on April 7, 2022. The "I NEED A JOB!" program provided 25 youth with the opportunity to develop resumes, interview skills, open a secure bank account, and bring awareness of how volunteering can translate into work experience.

The Sulaimani Job Fair ended with a great success! Around 43 local and international employers were present and nearly 1400 AUIS students and alumni attended, as well as jobseekers.
This two day event was a partnership between #AUIS and USAID - Foras project. The first day was only for #AUISAlumni and students, while the second day was for Foras registered jobseekers.
Two weeks prior to the Job Fair, AUIS conducted 24 Employability training sessions to prepare registered jobseekers to meet with potential recruiters. The training sessions were free of charge and were offered in three languages.
