für jimmy war wie jedes jahr eine "winter-höhle" im garten geplant. ich war dabei, die vorgesehenen schachteln zu richten, als er sie erschnupperte, und es sich schon darin gemütlich machte.... die warmen decken interessierten ihn nicht, hauptsache, er konnte sich verkriechen.... sein wohlfühlen schien zu sagen: endlich .....

After about 85 pictures of Jimmy Buffett aka "Da Man", I happened to like this one the best. I won't bore you with the other 84 pictures, but I have them for my safe keeping and memories of the concert for myself!

Reasons why Jimmy Buffett should be the next president!
1. He is totally laid back and not a stuffy man. You would never see him in a suit and tie. Imagine the oval office being ran by a man who wears flip flops, and very casual clothes.
2. He is very casual in his speech and his state of the union addresses will be filled with music, good times, cheeseburgers in paradise and happy people.
3. He pilots his own planes (yes as in more than one) and this would save taxpayers tons of money. That includes a seaplane and a private lear jet!
4. You could fire the entire secret service men because Jimmy Buffett has his own bodyguards in the form of 2 million or more parrot heads around the world.
5. You could save countless taxpayer dollars in campaign funds, because Jimmy Buffett is already a household name.
6. He could fill the cabinet and all other offices with parrot heads because they are by far some of the most laid-back people. Imagine all offices in the United States government being staffed by parrotheads? What a wonderful world this would be.
7. He has been putting out his music since 1970 and that gives him an almost 40-year career of keeping people happy. He must be doing something correctly.
8. The new location of the White House would be in Margaritaville, it has cheaper taxes and better scenery.

Mi gato adopatado de un año y medio de edad, le encanta posar a la camara, si no jusguen ustedes mismos.
As we walked by, my brother pointed out to me that our parent's old store sign was visible again. After my parents retired my father sold the building to some developers who were planning to raze the block. That was almost a decade ago. In the interim a computer store set up shop but now it's gone, along with their signage, leaving the original in plain view again.
One of their new D-Lights breakfast sandwiches. Whole-grain English muffin, turkey sausage, cheese, egg white. Tasty anyway. :-)

this man sits outside at the starbucks on melrose street every single day, wearing his cowboy hat, rings, and aviators while smoking his pipe. i've always wanted to take his picture, so i finally introduced myself and did. i think this may be one of my favorite photos i've ever managed to take. jimmy, what a wonderful man.
