The chair usually stays where it is in this photo, but I had pulled it away from the counter earlier the day of this shot. When I noticed Jimmy on the counter awkwardly trying to rest his paws on it, anyway, I returned it to this position. That made him pretty happy. It's just right for a paw rest.
When George first spotted Pippi at Petsmart and told me how beautiful she was, I asked if she reminded him of anyone. He said no.
Pippi and Jimmy have very different personalities and look very different from each other but there are some similarities as well.

See You Jimmy hats. Perhaps the most potent symbol of national self mockery in the world. These hats portray the Scots as ginger-haired clowns... Quoted from the Herald website
MY FAVORITE THINGS:
This is my last bottle of a store pick bourbon purchased from a discount liquor store in Bluffton Indiana. This particular batch Is sweet and smooth, caramel and vanilla. The Jimmy's Picks I have purchased since have been good to very good, but they are not this.
Jimmy selected a barrel of bourbon and then specified the variety of wooden staves used for additional aging. steeping staves as it were.
I do not care for the regular line of Maker's Mark or any of the editions I have tried, it is hugely popular and widely liked by other people. I believe I have an unsophisticated palette.
An interesting, useless and meaningless fact; this is the only label I have seen printed as Jimmy Pick, all other bottles have been Jimmy's Pick.
From my Favorite Things album.
I received catnip "shrimp" toys (from crazyaboutcatnip on Etsy) today. They are ultra-cute and cat-approved--by Jimmy, Idaho, and Batman, so far.
When I placed warm, just-dried laundry on the kitchen counter, Jimmy could not have been more happy. I took lots of photos; thank you for your indulgence.
This week for Happy Caturday we're posting photos of cats who were with us when the group formed in April 2016 but who have since departed. Here's Jimmy with his brother Mack in the background. I never posted this photo because I had so many other better photos. Now I look at it and I'm filled with love for this little cat.
I have a very good life and I'm truly content but I have to admit that since August 2022, there has been a little less sweetness in it.
Happy Caturday: April 2016
I'm sort of out of the loop until after Tuesday when my most recent photography homework is turned in. It involves poetry. Yikes.
Jimmy's on the Pier in Galveston, Tx! We are here for a cheer competition this weekend and always visit Jimmy's when we are in Galveston.
So I'm walking through the woods on my way to a shoot. I hear rustling about a foot behind me. Nothing there. Theres no wind, birds, nothing. I take another step, more rustling. Finally I turn around and creep forward slowly....boom..a snake just chilling in the middle of the path. I named him Jimmy, of course. He kindly let me photograph him for a few minutes before trying to bite me and then slither away.
The End.

The shadows and cracks in the asphalt are my favorite part...
