Princess cut sapphire & diamond chequered ring with trillion diamond shoulders set in platinum.
Designed to be totally original and stylish, this ring is made in platinum for strength whilst the art deco form is thanks to my love of the era. The shoulder diamonds were added to the design three days before it was actually completed! I designed this for my wife and we've never made another even a bit like it, but I like to show it to people on our website and in our bespoke portfolio.
Emerald cut sapphire and diamond engagement ring. An unusual engagement ring I photographed for Rumour's bespoke jewellery portfolio and website.

My first attempt at taking model photos. I took several model shots for our 2004 Rumour Jewellery catalogue front cover... this was one we didn't use. A nice shot but not quite what we wanted for the pearl and smokey quartz disc necklace.
Eternity ring I snapped for our Rumour's bespoke jewellery portfolio and website.
One of my favourite simple designs.

Rumour Cocktail Collection ring stack I took for our 2006 brochure. Very difficult to get them all balanced...and impossible to take as individuals and photoshop together!
This wouldn't be my choice of ring... but we can and do make anything the client wants! In this case a heart shaped pink sapphire set in a vine like, organic lattice of platinum and diamond flowers. The main thing was to make it look as the client wanted it and this meant drawing a detailed design first! Photographed for our website.
"It wasn't until I moved to the East Village, to this apartment, actually, that my life just completely changed. It was crazy. I started meeting all of these people that lived very close to me, and my friend base exploded. The business started growing like crazy. It was really insane.
I went to a party in the Upper West side the other day, and that was really fun, but I looked around and I was like, 'Yeah, this isn't my neighbourhood.' This is my neighbourhood. This is my home. I walk around, and I feel like it's mine. Everything around it is for me." - Chris Habana, jewellery designer (NYC)
