The Subsonex JSX003 is a small kit built jet airplane weighing in at a mere 500 pounds. This allows the small TJ-100 jet engine to push it to speeds of 300 miles per hour with only 258 pounds of thrust. Tom “Lark” Larkin, a retired USAF F-15 pilot and current 737 pilot, flies the very first kit ever sold in air shows around the USA. I had the privilege of watching him deftly maneuver the craft at the 2022 Aviation Roundup in Minden Nevada.
Veteran DRS class 20s 20312 and 20305 round the curve through Althorpe station jet-washing the railhead, the 3S13 08:51 Wrenthorpe to Grimsby Town Railhead Treatment Train on Friday 25th November 2016. Quite remarkably, the leading locomotive is fast approaching six decades of mainline service, being introduced to BR in November 1959 as D8042.

After being stored in 2009, she was reactivated for service with the now-defunct Zambezi Airlines (of Zambia) as 9J-ZJB before their collapse in 2011.
The aircraft was then returned to the lessor and stored in 2012 as N615SC.

The Jet d'Eau is a large fountain in Geneva, Switzerland, and is one of the city's most famous landmarks, being featured on the city's official tourism web site and on the official logo for Geneva's hosting of the 2008 UEFA Championships. It is also one of the largest fountains in the world. Situated at the point where Lake Geneva empties into the Rhone River, it is visible throughout the city and from the air, even when flying over Geneva at an altitude of 10 km (33,000 ft).
Five hundred litres (132 gallons) of water per second are jetted to an altitude of 140 metres (459 feet) by two 500 kW pumps, operating at 2,400 V, consuming over one megawatt of electricity. The water leaves the nozzle at a speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). When it is in operation, at any given moment there are about 7,000 litres (1849 gallons) of water in the air. Unsuspecting visitors to the fountain, which can be reached via a stone jetty from the left bank of the lake, may be surprised to find themselves drenched after a slight change in wind direction.

Delivered to JAL Japan Air Lines as JA8128 in Jun-75, the aircraft was sold to subsidiary company JAA Japan Asia Airways in Nov-86. It was leased back to JAL in Nov-98 and sub-leased to JALways in early 1999 in the Reso'cha livery.
It was returned to Japan Asia Airways in Aug-03 and sold to Orient Thai Airlines as HS-UTD. It was transferred to Orient Thai 'One-Two-Go' in Jun-05.
It was retired and stored at Phitsanulok, Thailand, in early 2008 and was donated to the local education authority with "This aeroplane is an asset donated for education and learning" titles. It was noted still there in Mar-12.
