Usually the Tornados will turn short on the old cross runway at RAF Coningsby, therefore avoiding taxiing through the Typhoon line before reaching their usual spot on the ASP. As it was late on a friday afternoon, with all other aircraft towed away, I took a chance on the 41(R) anniversary jet taxiing to the end, whiich makes for a good pic as he turns right by the fence - I got lucky!
The trouble with looking at life through a lens is that you miss a lot of the fun. The Red Arrows came so close at times that I could have done with a macro.
yes, cant sleep, bummer, but then again, i wanna stay awake for as long as i can, wanna soak it all in while here...
just realised that picasa has a new version, cool... so in absence of my LR, i will have to use picasa while staying at my friends place, but mind u, picasa has improved heaps with the latest version
