Douces figures poignardées chères lèvres fleuries
Mya Mareye

Sheltered in your shadow
I put my hope in you
Too afraid to stand alone
I hide with the meek and quiet
We love the darkness thrown
Where in
Here inside
We safely tremble
This our place
Filtered from harsh light
Far beyond their righteous stone

One of my favorite dogs, this is Jeter, a boxer mix and a really cool dog. Normally I only have seconds to get the shot, but with Jeter, he will sit for minutes without moving. Of course the cookie I'm always holding is great motivation for this big boy. I took some close ups of him too but I just liked the light and depth in this one.

Two E40s sit in the scrap line in Harrisburg back in August of 1978. These electrics started life as EP5s for the New Haven and acquired the nickname Jets, due to the noise that they made. I would have loved to see one of these in their New Haven paint. Maybe, that would erase their hideous appearance from my mind. The 4977 and 4975 would meet their fate within a year. Were any preserved?
