Jess and Annie laying on the bed. The look they were giving each other...one just waiting for the other to move lol. Annie could see the laughter in Jessica's eyes and knew she was about to act silly with her. BTW, Annie is deaf, so she really pays attention to our movements.
First time trying out the multiple exposure setting on my camera with a portrait. Shot with Jess out in Aberdeenshire.

Another portrait from some recent grad photos. Jess is the daughter of a co-worker and I did some family photos for them at her high school grad. She looked great in her dress and although there were tons of people around we found a spot where we could get a couple decent solo portraits.
For lighting there's some really large windows just behind me facing Jess and I had my SB910 on-camera for a little fill (pointed mostly up I think).
I was gifted a bunch of photoshop actions recently, and goodness am I having fun.

So the idea of yesterdays shoot was to go more feminine and give a much softer look to the photos. Jess did a super job with the posing for the photos and I think you will agree did a great job. Shot on the X-T1 and a mix of lens Fuji 18-55mm. Shot with a flash which was the quadra ranger on low power.
My first sight of Jess in 2002 through her backyard fence. Indy and I soon became lifelong pals with her and have been ever since. Unfortunately Jess passed away suddenly due to an infection in her pancreas on Thursday evening the 16th of February. I adored her. I was lucky enough to have Jess as my house guest on a couple of occasions last year when her owners Dave and Beryl went on holiday. I loved having her and she got on well with Indy even though she bossed him [and me] terribly. She would literally thump me if she wanted my attention and when I called her a pretty girl her tail would start wagging furiously. I’m going to miss her terribly but Indy has another friend to play with at Rainbow Bridge along with Scamp, Rob, Ellie, Dan, Holly, Megan and too many others, She was part of a golden generation of dogs in Llanfairfechan who all grew up together and are now sadly leaving us. Dave and Beryl are terribly sad and shocked as are all who loved her
Jess and Indy get on well with each other, except when Jess is in season and she tells him off when he takes an interest. Indy never gets jealous when I make a fuss of other dogs, made sure of that from when He was a pup!
This was taken a few days before his birthday. Alas the light wasn't as good as this on his birthday.
