This is my cat, Jess. Yes, he is a boy. I named him after the cat in Postman Pat because I think he is a boy, so yeah. I wanted to try something new, like this funky background and kind of pop-art-but-not-really-style. This is what the result was :D

I asked my friend Jess to pose for me yesterday for a few ideas that I had. She was a great sport and said yes. We were going for more of the gothic look here. I thought it came out nice. She loved it as well.
I also did her makeup for the shoot.

Jess is 6 years old. She doesn't get as many photos taken of her as she was diagnosed with hip displacia at 6 months old, and can not run around and participate to the same extent in the action shots with the other two hooligans. Her legs get very sore, so she just has gentle short walks. This was taken shortly after I photographed the sheep on the hill and this one's for Jess.
