I bought one of those tennis ball launchers the other day.... I thought to myself why don't I have one of these I use to.... after the first throw I remembered... How can a dog that is so gentle retrieving birds be so hard on tennis balls???? After the first thow Java's tennis ball was a scrunch ball! If you view this photo large size you will see the tennis ball is not really round anymore! ...silly boy!

The house we stayed in on Kauai had a lovely Lanai, complete with birdfeeder. These little guys mobbed it regularly, waiting their turn on the balcony. They were quite bold, and let me get within a few feet.
