Flickr Support have asked me to leave my photograph up if it does not appear in your 'update feed' and start generating views as I would normally expect. This is so that their engineers can try to get to the bottom of the issue that continues to plague my account.
As a result this image may have fewer views and favourites than would be expected for a time.
I'm not entirely sure what's happened to Toad's face, but it looks like he's taken a bit of a beating... perhaps he got in Mario's way while he tried to save the Princess yet again?
Hope everyone is staying safe and doing well.

The sun has just risen giving stunning colours along Southbourne Beach Bournemouth, on a cold but fine January morning.
Winter is winter, it brings frost and snow here in the north of Russia. January's breath is going to freeze everything, including this small river.
But the light of mid winter is so beautiful sometimes. Especially right before sunrise. Try to get it when possible.
Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends.

I *think* that after 50+ years of taking pictures I have finally internalized the basic requirement to make sure the entire subject is in the frame before taking the picture. At this point in time (Jan 1976), I evidently had not. Apologies.

Taken when we were in Shropshire in January. The hill in the background is Titterstone Clee, which dominated the landscape in the part of south Shropshire where we stayed.

Accidentally set up a flat lay this afternoon while working on these crocheted catnip fish for a cat rescue group my Mom likes to support.
I'm still working out variations of the pattern to best suit what I'm looking for but I'm making progress. These were requested for a spring event so I've got lots of time to sort out the details.
Started with this crochet pattern and have been making slight adjustments here and there.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Pedestrian bridge sunset, Vesterelva, Fredrikstad.
Shot while waiting for the ferry home to the Old Town (Gamlebyen).
Cold day, -12.0°C during the morning hours.
Nothing too fancy today; just a quick flat lay.
I was hoping to get some shots of the chickadees that visited earlier today but they didn't have the patience to wait for me to change my lens so I had to go with the backup plan.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Pretty sure that these are laburnum seeds, they apparently are poisonous and stay hanging until winter.
For those of you who didn't notice, there was an AMAZING sunset today. I happened to look outside and saw the sky and knew the sunset had huge potential. It did not disappoint.
My only regret is that I had to leave before it got to it's full splendour.
Fighting a headache after a long day of emails and meetings so it's a simple flat lay / still life for today.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
