I've been playing around with jQTouch, a jQuery plugin for adding styling and animations to mobile websites for "forward thinking" devices like the iPhone. The idea is to make Mobi easier to theme as well as add some pizzazz. The video above is just my first take and it needs a lot of love. Some points:
- using the default JQT theme
- using onTouchStart/End for the the highlighted icon
- after the site is linked from the homescreen all the normal chrome is taken away.
- it hasn't been tested across a real network
- i'm not a fan of the default header style and i think i'll rework it to be more like the current mobi style

Right now wordpress 2.5 is drenching the blogs and most of us enjoying it but their are losts bugs that need to be patched for example publishing issues ,File editor error, Internet explorer issues, Autosave, You may trac and report bugs here if you find any.Wordpress is working on the development and trying to remove the issues.Most probably wordpress new version i;e wordpress 2.6 will be out of the box after this August. Now the question is what would you expect from wordpress 2.6? Answer is quite obvious, it should be more secure and patched from the errors we are facing in wordpress 2.6.So here is the list of some features you may enjoy in new release of wordpres.

21. Make default feed format pluggable - to control the default feed format
22. Customizable default avatars

24. TinyMCE 3.1.0.1 with lots of bug fixes
25. Add filter to disable email box on profile page
26. You may easily include non plugin files in current plugins using database manipulation.
Last but not least the beat version of b Wordpress 2.6 is out so all the coder's and lovers of wordpress may enjoy it till the official release of new final version.
This is the new layout for my blog. I was trying to break up the typical layout of a blog and condense it a little. It's chocked full of jQuery goodness that hopefully you'll enjoy. This screenshot shows the UX Drinking Game site viewed in Steve Weyer’s Newt’s Cape on my Newton MessagePad 2100. Because of the site’s reliance on the jQuery JavaScript library for interaction and display of content, the only thing you see when hitting the site is this error page.
I’ve also prepared a screenshot showing the site in Eckhart Köppen’s Courier browser.

Unfortunately, the sliding effects are missing in the video, since the recorder i use is pretty much useless when it comes to details.
This one-page-website demonstrates the followings:
1 - a very large page (has 12 php includes, lots of images, jquery and 3 other pretty large javascripts) can load very fast even on slow internet connections, if optimized correctly. Everything you can see on the site is loaded instantly when accesing the page, since it's a single-paged website.
2 - you don't need FLASH to create beautiful effects and animations on a given page. You can go even further and create a fully interactive html page, without a single flash element on your website. I never agreed with using Flash for such purposes as creating webpages. Sure it can add a nice effect, but that's just a waste. Flash is so much more than animations..
I can gladly say that Escape From The Web now works on actual RouterStations (as opposed to just my laptop)! There was a bug in the eftw.py module that prevented it from working properly on the ar71xx architecture related to termios.TIOCSWINSZ that I have now corrected.
