Hoy es Miércoles de Ceniza, comienza la Cuaresma. Les traigo aquí una foto del Cristo de la Pasión, bendecido el año pasado para la cofradía de los Costaleros, que hoy celebran su Fiesta Principal
"...I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen.. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." - Matthew 28:5-6
I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and his unfailing selflessness. He suffered to that we might live. And just as Jesus did, we too can rise from despair, sorrow, pain, and one day even death--because he lives! Check out www.comeuntochrist.org to find out more about Christ.

the hope of the nations and their Saviour:
Come and save us, O Lord our God."

Jesus Christ through a cloud with a halo over his head while he is staring at the light yellow full moon. Thank you everyone for your views, comments, and favorites.
I dreamed I met a Galilean,
a most amazing man,
He had that look
you very rarely find...
the haunting hunted kind.
I asked him
to say what had happened,
how it all began,
I asked again,
He never said a word
as if He hadn't heard.
And next the room was full
of wild and angry men,
they seemed to hate this man,
they fell on him and then disappeared...
Then I saw thousands of millions,
crying for this man
and then I heard them mentioning my name
and leaving me the blame.

From what is easily my most favourite photo of all time below.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the adorable Face of Thy Beloved Son for the honor and glory of Thy Holy Name and for the salvation of all men.
"I que es la veritat" which is in the Portico de la Pasión, passion facade - gate of the Sagrada Familia ( a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia - Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí ) is dedicated to the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. The sentence, is in catalan language, and it means exactly "and what is the truth?"
"O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen."

The misspellings are the result of Pastor Tim running out of letters. I figure I better add that because he is one of the smartest and kindest people I know, along with his wife.
This is a shot of ‘The Crucifixion’, a glazed ceramic icon dating back to the 14th century. The rarest Byzantine Orthodox icon emanates from the church of Hagios Vassilios in Arta, Greece. This photograph was taken in order to be especially dedicated to Maundy Thursday (aka Holy Thursday) and the Passion of Christ.

Gospel hymn | The Significance of Prayer
I
Prayer is one of the ways
how man cooperates with God,
to call upon His Spirit
and to be touched by God.
The more you pray,
the more you'll be touched,
enlightened and strong-minded.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
The more you pray,
the more you'll be touched,
enlightened and strong-minded.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
II
So those who never pray are
dead without spirit.
They can't be touched by God,
can't follow. God's work
People who never pray
lose normal spiritual life,
have broken ties with God;
He will not approve them.
People who never pray
lose normal spiritual life,
have broken ties with God;
He will not approve them.
III
The more you pray,
the more you'll be touched,
enlightened and strong-minded.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
The more you pray,
the more you'll be touched,
enlightened and strong-minded.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
People as such
can be made perfect soon.
