Madame Alexander Neo Cissy Doll Envy Designed by Jason Wu; Madame Alexander 21" male doll

**Mr. Cisster, as one seller on eBay nicknamed him, is one of the few 21" male dolls made by Madame Alexander as a companion to Cissy. The ones I have seen are part of their movie collections, one for "Gone with the Wind" and another for "Some Like It Hot." My Mr. Cisster was totally stripped down by the previous owner--no make up, wig removed, cloudy eyes, which is why I gave him glasses (thus relatively cheap) and really suited for customization though for me and my girls, with his new toupee, he's fine as is!
**i love Jason Wu's Neo Cissys because they are diverse and daring though some Madame Alexander purists find them really 'out there'!
When I got this doll last year, I let go of her to a friend who had been able to get the other Aymeline, the one from Net A Porter and I was glad to make her happy to get her at the time ... I don't regret it even now ... I'm still hoping for an Aymeline I will like - make up and hairstyle that I won't want to change - but I have to say that after seeing a lot of pictures with dolls redressed with this dress, it really made me want to get it for my collection ... Jason Wu has a great talent to reimagine his human size gowns to make them gorgeous for dolls too ... so here it is and it will be worn by the new girl in town ...

Jason Wu Fall 2017 Elyse dress isn't really the runway dress version, nor this red carpet version which was worn by Diane Kruger ( when I said Elyse reminds me of her many times, no wonder , now ... )
So I guess Elyse is getting her very own version ... Fingers still crossed for the lottery ... I hate suspense ! ...
I know I'm not the only one to have changed her hairstyle to this ponytail ... but I wanted to have her different from the Brunette as she won't be wearing the same outfit ... I guess I'll put her in one of my favourite fashions Jason Wu designed last year for the Luxe Life Convention ... Elyse always deserves the best ;)

Birthstone Beauty Barbie. I redid her hair. I didn't like the way the back of her hair was when she came out of the box. The front curls are cute, but the back is a mess, which usually happens to a lot of Barbies in their boxes with that plastic and thread to hold her hair down. It just creates a mess, but anyway....
