Thanks to Glen, Mar & Ted for organizing this EB Macro yesterday at Bukit Timah. 'Twas nice spending the morning too with Eric & Paul. It has been a very looong walk with few interesting subjects for macro shoot. But nevertheless, it has been a great day spent with friends & new acquaintances with endless exchange of stories & good company.

Finally after a lot of exchange of photo comments, I was able to meet eye to eye a couple of great macroholics and street photographers here on flickr.
Thanks to Cakka a.k.a. Cakkarudie for arranging the meet up! It was nice meeting you and Thomas, Xingjian, Vin, Choomee, Weng. Thanks to Thomas a.k.a. Mio Cade for the tips about street photography. Thanks to Weng's magnificent vision for spotting nice subjects.

while i was on the island, i discovered a green sea turtle sanctuary ... the locals raise and care for the turtles until they're 8 months old, and old enought to fend for themselves, then they're released... for a small donation i was able to set two turtles free, it was an amazing experience and incredible to watch ... i named them jack and jai ...
